June 2,3rd: Easy wild camp near Myougi in Gunma. Very beautiful rocky mountain area. Location [場所]: 2.5 hours NW of Tokyo in Gunma. Near Takasaki
Event Grade [イベント等級]:Level is low - Fitness 1, Technical 1 for most of hiking I think but maybe balance needed in some places (Technical 2) near the top of rocks places. Map says the routes are no problem but these places are optional - don't need to go to the top.
he basic walk/hike is very easy.

Wonderful area with strange rocks but not high mountains. Rocks I want to try are not high... easy to go up in less than 1 hour but the scenery is great.
You can join just for the forest road hike, camp and onsen. Hiking up any rocks is optional.
At the moment this is a wild camp ... may not be toilet (bury in forest). One place did have a toilet but depends on route we take and weather. We boil river water for drinking and cooking.
SaturdayBest to share a taxi if possible from Matsuida as it is a climbing road - normal road for 1.5hrs walking. Taxi 10-15 minutes. We can walk from the station if we have to... taxi will be about 1,000en each or maybe less .... 800en each for 3 people.
From there we walk up the river 1 hour (myougi rindou) to nice camp spot. Can hike around the area for the rest of the day.
SundayAlong quiet forest road to unusual small mountains Nikkura yama, Onba yama (日暮山, 御場山)
Also possibility of other famous mountain there .. Monogatari yama (物語山) ... fairytale/ story mountain.
Route chosen depends on the day...
Maybe time for onsen and highway bus or train back to Tokyo from Shimonita.

Tent, sleeping bag, mat, outdoor clothing, rainwear, hiking footwear.
Food and PET bottle at least 1 litre, things for eating.
100yen shop light steel cooking pot useful.
Insect spray, toilet paper etc. Hopefully we can go onsen at the end... towel.
