As I said, please have sturdy footwear with good traction. We will be walking on a lot of rocks, I don't want anyone to slip. No running shoes.Also, we will probably be going off trail a lot, walking along the rocky shoreline as much as possible, possibly bushwhacking, so long pants would be better to avoid scratching your legs.

Introduction [はじめに] Manazuru misaki is the closest natural coastal scenery in Izu, not too far from Odawara.
真鶴岬（まなづるみさき）は、神奈川県足柄下郡真鶴町にある岬である。神奈川県南西部、真鶴半島先端に位置し、相模灘に向けて突き出す。当地と三浦半島南端沖に浮かぶ城ヶ島を結ぶ線より北側の海域が相模湾と呼ばれ、南側は相模灘と呼ばれている。
付近の森林は森林浴の森100選、沿岸部は日本の重要湿地500に指定されている。
Event Details [イベント詳細] We will explore the rocky coastline and see some historical areas.
Afterward, we can stop by Odawara, see the castle grounds and 7000 flowers, according to the website:
小田原城あじさい花菖蒲まつり
小田原城址公園東堀の花菖蒲園では、約7000株の花菖蒲があじさいを背景に花開きます。見頃にあわせて夜間はライトアップも行われ、幻想的な雰囲気の花々を観賞することができます。
Route and Time [ルートと時間] About 2-3 hours walking time, mostly flat but VERY rocky. Must have study shoes with good tread.
