Sat 5 Apr: Hanami + hot drinks n food. Deadline sign up Fri 1pm
Saturday afternoon
Cherry blossom at Budokan, Chidorigafuchi, or Ueno park.
Can take stove for hot spiced wine, warm sake, some hot food.

It was good, went to some outdoor shops too.
The end of cherry blossom in central Tokyo but some trees still in full bloom. Lots of other flowers out in Ueno and fed lots of birds - land on hand and take food. Budokan and Chidirigafuchi still nice.
New outdoor clothing on sale in London Sports in Ogawamachi. Some very cheap... I got last pair of ExOfficio trousers - 430 yen only!!!
Marmot ladies trousers for 2,540en (2,800 -15% extra). Hats are cheap also.
Danner TREKBLAZER IV / Danner TREKBLAZER 4 (sale 6,900en)
Most places online are selling these boots for 18,000en - this is a cheap shop! Shop is called 'Foot Monkey';

Near London Sports in Okachimachi/Ueno I also got a pair of Danner goretex vibram sole boots for 6,900en (supposed to be 17,000en). They are marked a little (1 black mark) so discounted. Maybe cheaper brand but look good/ About 80m past London Sports and corner shop on the right when walking from Okachimachi to Ueno.
Some other model (ladies sizes too) are selling good boots for 3,200en
