Meet 7pm north exit of JR Okachimachi station. Or go the bar yourself before 8pm.




First

Meet JR Okachimachi station 7.30pm and visit discount store  (1 minute) to check hiking boots and trainers. Continue to cheap bar (5 minutes).

Stay at the bar 7.30pm- 9pm.Tachinomi cheap standing bar (立ち呑み もつくし). See pictures below for street photos.

Very cheap yakitori/ snack standing bar (map directions and pics below). Nama chu beer 390, shouchu sour 290.
Lots of small cheap dishes to eat and yakitori.
Shop rule - everyone has to buy 1 drink and 1 snack - about 400en.



Second - Thai, Korean, other dinner

We can eat in the standing bar or try a restaurant nearby - many!
Also can go to Yurakucho to cheap Thai place. It is only about 10 minutes from Okachimachi.

I've been always attracted to this cheap standing bar in Ueno!  But I can't be arriving before 8 since I have to stay at the office until 7...will post a message if something's coming up.
